Here's a construction shot of "The Other Way Round". The pieces are bound in place with rubber bands and string to a custom built framework made of meccano and perspex cutouts. The final wires are then threaded between the ends of the ceramic pieces and tensioned up using bolts and wing nuts to hold them tight. When all is in place, metal crimps are closed on the wires and the scaffolding removed. All going well, the sculpture holds itself up!
