This was hand built in earthenware clay. I started it upside down in a sphere mould, coiled a funnel shape up from there, fitted a bottom, allowed it to dry a bit, turned it up the other way and added the rim and broke the side for the balls.
The finish is various oxides, with a manganese oxide based glaze on the rim and balls.
